Team - Junior's
new mini-rugby!
This is the second year that the Ottawa Indians will be offering a Mini Rugby Program. It is co-ed for kids 4-14 years of age (If there is enough interest we would like to offer a contact rugby program for kids 13 & 14). This year our program will be flag rugby, it is a great way for kids to get some exercise, make new friends and learn a new and exciting sport. Kids will learn the basic rules of rugby as well as basic ball handling skills in a safe learning environment. Our program will start the beginning of June and will go til the end of July. The cost of the program is $110 which covers the cost of insurance, a t-shirt and a rugby ball to take home.

Welcome to the Indians Junior Development Rugby Program!
The Ottawa Indians R.F.C. has been a recognized leader in supporting, promoting and encouraging the growth of rugby in local high schools and at the club level for the past three decades. Each coach is committed to teaching and enhancing the skills of each individual athlete to attain their full potential as rugby players.
Our Junior Development Program strives to provide:

- Promote leadership and teamwork
This is achieved through
- Protective equipment
- Certified coaches and referees
- Inter-Club cooperation
- Scrum machines and other advanced development equipment
We will also be sharing this equipment within the high school programs that we coach in the community.
